Sharon Osbourne is most famous for being the wife of the rock icon Ozzy Osbourne. With her striking red hair and signature grin, Sharon is easily recognizable. That said, the famous author shared a series of images on Instagram that caused a stir among her fans.
The offending images showed Sharon spending some quality time with her extended family. The star of the hit reality show “The Osbournes” shared three photos showing her with her grandchildren and her daughter-in-law.
Her son, Jack Osbourne, shared the same image of his mom with his daughter, Pearl Osbourne. Fans took to social media after sharing the snapshot, commenting on Sharon’s appearance. Many noted she looked much different than what they were used to.

The photo Sharon and Jack posted showed the manager-mom without makeup. Unused to seeing Sharon without any cosmetics, fans took it upon themselves to make their surprise known in the post’s comment section. One person wrote, ”Where’s her square jaw?”
The stylist shared a before and after photo of her hair, showcasing the new white-haired look.
A large number of people wrote about Sharon’s appearance. One user remarked, “It doesn’t even look like her anymore.” Many more comments followed, with one user writing, “SHARON … I love you more than my own mother but darling PLEASE no more face stuff…”

Her personal stylist, Jack Martin, revealed she chose to swap her iconic red hairdo for the new platinum blonde to save her the time she spent at the stylist every week.

The stylist shared a before and after photo of her hair, showcasing the new white-haired look. He revealed in the caption that Sharon had been coloring her hair once a week for almost the last two decades. The stylist also shared that Sharon’s hair has been completely white for a number of years now. He wrote:
“[Sharon] explained to me that she wanted to do this transformation long time ago but every time she attempts it ends up with a disaster. Sharon was very tired of coloring her hair once a week and she was obligated to since she is on tv almost every day.”
The colorist also revealed that the entire procedure took a whopping eight hours to complete. That said, the end results seem to be precisely what Sharon wanted, as she is seen smiling happily in the photo taken after the procedure. The platinum blonde hair was supposed to allow Sharon to go much longer without retouching the color.
Over the past few years, Sharon has been changing her appearance reasonably often. Although the red mane has been a staple of Sharon’s look and has persisted over the years, fans have noticed how drastically her face has changed since she first stepped into the public eye.
The switch to platinum blonde didn’t last long, though, since the latest images of Sharon show her with her red hair. The happy grandmother is back to her trademark hair color and showing it off along with her big brood of grandkids.
The Osbourne family has been steadily growing over the last few years. The 37-year-old son of Sharon and Ozzy, Jack, was the first to welcome a grandchild into the mix in 2012. Jack was married to Lisa Stelley from 2012 to 2019, and they shared three daughters, Pearl, Andy Rose Osbourne, and Minnie Osbourne.
Andy was born in 2015, and the couple had Minnie in 2018, merely a few months before they separated. Lisa shared that Pearl was overjoyed to have siblings, writing, “Pearl is very happy to become a big sister. She diligently reads her ‘I’m a big sister’ books every night and recites to me her plans of bathing, feeding, singing to, and holding the baby.”
Although his first marriage didn’t work out, Jack shared that he aims to be a father his children can admire. He extended that philosophy into his current marriage with Aree Gearhart. The pair welcomed their first baby together on July 9, 2022, making Ozzy and Sharon grandparents for the fourth time.
The famous grandparents expressed their joy at having another little one in the family in an Instagram post. Jack and Aree named their new bundle of love Maple Artemis Osbourne, and Aree proudly raises her and Jack’s other children together. She shared after her baby’s birth, “New level of love unlocked.”
Jack isn’t the only one contributing to the Osbourne family. Sharon and Ozzy’s second daughter, Kelly Osbourne, recently welcomed a little one of her own. She announced in 2022 that she was expecting a baby boy with Sid Wilson, a member of the metal band Slipknot. Sidney Wilson was born in January 2023. Sharon wrote:
“They’re doing just so great. So great. [Kelly] won’t let a picture go out of him and I’m so proud of her.”
Although Sharon only shares her five grandkids with her husband, Ozzy has more from a previous relationship. The musician shares two children with Thelma Riley but admits that he wasn’t always the best dad to Louis Osbourne and Jessica Osbourne. Ozzy said about being a dad, “It’s a lot better environment now. I can be of service to my family.”
