Carrie Underwood Has Faced Plastic Surgery Rumors in the past & Was Slammed about Her ‘Weird’ Looking Legs
A few years ago, the songstress survived a severe fall while walking her dogs. After sustaining a serious injury, Underwood had to get 40 stitches in her face. After her accident, comments speculating and implying that the country singer had gotten plastic surgery work done started making their way onto media outlets, which Underwood addressed:
“…It’s a little sad because the truth is just as interesting I wish I’d gotten some awesome plastic surgery to make this [scar] look better. But I try not to worry too much about it.”
When it comes to people making judgments and assertions about her physical appearance, Underwood is no stranger to negative critique. Earlier this year, the star posted four photos of her at the Country Music Television (CMT) Awards. As Underwood showed off her toned legs in two different bedazzled looks, critics were quick to make offensive comments:
“Her legs look weird.”
Although Underwood has faced backlash and criticisms over her appearance in the past, many of her fans praised the most recent look she sported while on tour with the legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses. As she took the stage on her first night performing with the rock legends, Underwood traded in her usual country star chic attire for a more edgy rock ‘n roll vibe.
She wore black leather shorts, an intricately bedazzled, patterned, fringed black jacket, silver jewelry, and silver suede cowboy boots. In the Instagram caption, which accompanied photos of Underwood, she referenced that she has been living out her rockstar dreams as of late.
Apart from that, she is recharging at her farm home in Tennessee with her loving husband and sons.
A flurry of fan comments complimented the star on how great she looked. Many commended her on showing off her legs, making a note of how amazingly toned they appeared:
“I love those luscious legs.”
When she is not too busy being a legend on stage, Underwood enjoys a relaxing life with Fisher and their children on their 400-acre farm in Tennessee. The family’s sprawling residence includes private horse stables, a greenhouse, a vast garden, and a lake of its own, to name a few features.
Fisher and Underwood purchased the home in the same year they tied the knot. Underwood especially loves tending to the fruits and vegetables in her garden and the contents of her greenhouse, which has already bloomed produce.
Underwood remains unfazed by what critics say about her appearance and is currently focused on gearing up for her Las Vegas residency, which will resume on September 20. Apart from that, she is recharging at her farm home in Tennessee with her loving husband and sons.
