Corinne Foxx announced her engagement to Joe Hooten through a series of black-and-white shots. The first of several photos highlighted her stunning diamond engagement ring.
Corinne gushed that ever since she met Joe, she had already known that he’d be the man she’d spend the rest of her life with. In the same way, Corinne was over the moon with her engagements, fans shared the same sentiments.

People wondered how Jamie reacted to Corinne’s engagement, especially since Corinne had always been vocal about how protective her dad was. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, she once shared that her dad would “scare” and “intimidate” Corinne’s boyfriend.
Corinne reportedly graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in public relations, wanting not to give in to what people expected her to do. While she admittedly wanted to act, she didn’t want to do it because other people expected her to do just that.
It was at USC that Corinne met Hooten, who ended up being her partner for life. Hooten is a TV director at John Wells Productions, moving up the ranks in the same company since 2017.
Jamie Foxx has yet to respond publicly to Corinne’s recent announcement. The father-and-daughter duo have remained close through the years, which is why many fans are wondering how he reacted to the engagement.
